I worked in full time employment for Dorling Kindersley Publishers Ltd in London for eight years on many book projects covering a wide range of subject matter; this exercised resourcefulness in research, to practical experimentation and creation of many props for photography, and detailed analysis and adaptation of technical information. My strengths in science were recognised and exercised through working on a succession of science-based topics which proved to be very enjoyable and rewarding.
