Following the success of the 'Children's Illustrated Encyclopedia', DK embark on more topic-related encyclopedias such as science. This book takes a thematic approach with sections relating to major aspects of science, centred around chemistry, physics, biology and astronomy.

My role on the Science Encyclopedia was as senior art editor, co-ordinating a team of designers to maintain a tight schedule and ensuring style consistency. Much studio photography was done, involving tricky scientific demonstrations, backed up with clear illustrations.
