These are a series of exhibition panels for the Stanwell Corporation's Visitor Information Centre display at the Barron Gorge power station near Lake Placid. Each panel occupies the full depth of the wall and provides a sequential story about the history of the power station, beginning with the first station located here, which was superceded by the present one. It also tells the story of electricity generation from a variety of different sources adopted by Stanwell Corporation's plants throughout Queensland.
