Artwork for testbed trial for CouponCups

The client required artwork to be produced for the printing of the first batch of cups in two sizes in order to trial his promotional voucher scheme. This involved art for three layers 䴋 the printing on the cup direct, and the inside and outside of the tear-off sleeve, in two sizes of cup. The trial is an exclusive to Cairns airport and if successful, hopes to be introduced in many other retail centres.

The artwork was produced to a master template which was produced from the cup dimensions provided; this proved to be a very haphazard method especially considering we had to correspond with a printer in China and get our queries translated 䴋 dimensions given were rather imprecise at first, leading to a couple of bogus results. We managed to obtain a more precise template shape and created the art to suit.

Art for the base cup in mono was to include the Couponcups logo as well as the advertisers' strip around the bottom containing their logos;

Art for the sleeve was identical in set-up, involving a front and back 䴋 the back contains the actual content of the voucher from each advertiser in black print:

the front is the outer image of the cup that would be seen by the customer and is full colour
