However, my interest in photography has been augmented by my professional involvement in publishing, and I have benefitted from the first-hand experience of directing photo shoots in a studio setting and sometimes on location, using a photography team and their professional equipment.

I myself own several cameras, from simple digital to a comprehensive SLR 35mm film camera with interchangeable lenses ranging from 28mm to 400mm focal lengths. I also have a larger 2 1/4" format camera.
